1. How can I verify my profile?

Verifying your profile makes it easier to make new friends and attracts more attention. Therefore, your profile will be more visible and get more engagement.

To verify your account please go to your profile page and tap on Verify your account

Verify your account by selecting at least 2 of the options (Google, photo, or phone) that will be shown on the next page, then follow the instructions.

2. How can I buy coins?

The more coins you get, the more video chat you can have to enjoy meeting new people!
To purchase coins, please go to your profile, tap on coins, choose the amount you would like to buy, and continue with your purchase.

3. How can I add friends?

Once you register on Waplog, you can see people nearby or people from different countries based on your preferences (if you need more explanation on how to filter your preferences, please check out the video chat section).

Select the person you want to add as a friend, go to their profile, and select the Add as friend button. It’s that simple!

4. How can I add photos to my profile?

Having real photos on your profile is the best way to get noticed by other users and attract more attention. All the photos and videos you upload to your account must comply with our Terms and Conditions. Content including nudity and violence will not be tolerated and will be removed immediately. To create honest and engaging profiles, you shouldn’t upload photos or videos that you don’t own. To upload a photo, follow the steps below:

Go to your profile
Tap on the camera icon on your profile picture
Select the source from which you want to upload your photo. Pick your best photos and you are set!
After your photo gets approved by our moderation, it will be visible to everyone

5. How can I upload a story?

Uploading stories will make your profile more visible to others and attract more attention to you. That means you can meet more people!
We recommend you upload new stories every day to become more popular on Waplog. You can express yourself better by using the story feature. Just remember that the video must be on full screen, clear, and vertically shot with high resolution.

To upload stories, just follow the steps below:

Go to the main page
Tap on the My story button on the upper left corner of the page
Tap on the record button to take a video and publish it!

6. How does the video chat work?

Video chat is a feature on Waplog that allows you to talk to real people from all around the world in real-time.
You can either start a video chat with a specific person or you can get random matches.
By tapping on the camera icon on the lower bar, you can easily start a random video chat.

Even if you match with someone you don't speak the same language with, don’t worry. We got you covered! The messages you send and receive in video chats will be automatically translated into your language without even interrupting the chat.

Once you start the video chat, you will be charged after some time. To have an uninterrupted video chat, you can purchase our coin packages and keep enjoying video chats!

7. How can I block a user?

You might not want to receive messages or calls from certain people and block them.

Once you block someone, you will not encounter them in random chat. If you want to block someone, just follow the steps below:

Open the profile page of the person you want to block
Tap on the three dots on the upper right corner and select the Block option.

You can see the users you have blocked by going to 'Blocked users' under settings. If you want to unblock someone, go to the settings, select 'Blocked users' and pick the user you want to unblock. Then tap on the Unblock option.

8. How can I report a user?

Even though our team works relentlessly to detect the profiles that violate our policy, we appreciate your collaboration on this matter.

If you want to report a user, follow the steps below:

Open the profile page of the person you want to report
Tap on the three dots and select the Report option.

You can apply the same procedure on private messages, stories, and video chat pages as well.

9. How can I change my location?

Waplog uses your GPS to detect your location automatically and shows you the people nearby. In this way, you can get to know the people located close to you.

If you are using a VPN or IP changer, try to turn it off and update your GPS options.
